Welcome to Fixios. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Platform Role

Fixios is a marketplace that connects customers with independent tradespeople. Fixios does not provide the services listed on the platform and is not responsible for the performance, quality, or outcome of any services.

All tradespeople operate as independent contractors and are solely responsible for the services they provide.

2. User Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when booking services
  • Pay for services through the Fixios platform
  • Communicate clearly with tradespeople
  • Inspect completed work before confirming completion

Tradespeople agree to:

  • Provide accurate service descriptions and pricing
  • Deliver services professionally and safely
  • Comply with all applicable laws, licenses, and regulations
  • Maintain valid credentials where required

3. Payments & Escrow

  • Payments made through Fixios may be held temporarily (escrow) until a service is marked as completed
  • Fixios reserves the right to release funds after confirmation of service completion
  • Fixios may deduct service fees or commissions before releasing funds to tradespeople

Fixios is not responsible for disputes related to service quality, but may review disputes at its discretion.

4. Disputes

  • Customers and tradespeople are encouraged to resolve disputes directly
  • Fixios may assist in dispute resolution but is not obligated to intervene
  • Fixios reserves the right to make a final decision regarding payment release in cases of dispute

All decisions made by Fixios in dispute situations are final.

5. No Guarantees

Fixios does not guarantee:

  • the quality of services
  • the availability of tradespeople
  • the accuracy of pricing estimates

All services are performed at the user's own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fixios shall not be liable for:

  • any damages resulting from services performed
  • financial losses
  • personal injury or property damage
  • indirect or consequential damages

Fixios' total liability shall not exceed the amount paid through the platform for the specific service.

7. Verification & Credentials

Fixios may verify tradespeople credentials; however:

  • verification does not guarantee quality or performance
  • users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence

8. Account Suspension

Fixios reserves the right to:

  • suspend or terminate accounts
  • remove listings
  • restrict access

for violations of these terms or suspicious activity.

9. Platform Use

Users agree not to:

  • bypass Fixios to avoid fees
  • misuse the platform
  • engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior

10. Modifications

Fixios may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the applicable province/state and country where Fixios operates.
